Privacy Policy
Effective Date: PRODUCTION LAUNCH DATE Last Updated: September 7, 2026
InsurancePolicyHelp.org (the “Site”) is owned and operated by TwelveStones Inc. (“TwelveStones,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit the Site, call a number displayed on the Site, request a callback, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.
Insurance Policy Help is an independent consumer-facing service. TwelveStones Inc. owns and operates the Site and brand. Policy-specific insurance advice, solicitation, quoting, or placement, when offered, is provided only by appropriately licensed insurance professionals and/or licensed insurance agencies identified to you at the time the service is provided.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
A. Information you provide directly
This may include:
- your name;
- telephone number;
- email address, if you choose to provide one;
- state of residence or the state where insurance assistance is requested;
- preferred callback date or time;
- the general reason for your inquiry;
- information you choose to provide during a telephone conversation; and
- information necessary to respond to your request or connect you with an appropriately licensed insurance professional.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card information, medical records, account passwords, or other highly sensitive information through general website fields unless a secure process specifically requests it.
If you decide to apply for insurance, additional personal, financial, medical, underwriting, or policy information may be requested by a licensed insurance agency, insurance producer, carrier, or authorized service provider. Those parties may provide separate privacy notices and authorizations as required by law.
B. Website and device information
When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- operating system;
- pages viewed and referring pages;
- dates and times of visits;
- approximate location derived from IP address;
- cookie or similar technology identifiers;
- advertising campaign, source, medium, keyword, and landing-page information; and
- permitted advertising click identifiers and attribution information.
C. Call-tracking and telephone information
Because this Site is designed around telephone conversations, we may use a call-tracking provider to measure and route calls. Depending on the configuration, call-related information may include:
- the number displayed to you and the number called;
- date, time, source, campaign, and landing page associated with the call;
- call status, answer status, transfers, and duration;
- routing and agent or destination information;
- a unique call identifier used to connect call outcomes to advertising or CRM records; and
- call disposition, such as connected, qualified, service-only, callback requested, or other operational outcomes.
Call recording is disabled unless and until we implement a lawful notice and consent process for the states in which recording is used. If recording or transcription is later enabled, you will receive any notice or consent request required by applicable law before recording or transcription begins.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to your questions and requests;
- connect you with an appropriately licensed insurance professional;
- route calls based on state, insurance line, staffing, or other service criteria;
- provide requested callbacks;
- determine whether the requested service is available in your state;
- improve the Site, call routing, staffing, advertising, and customer experience;
- measure advertising source, campaign performance, connected calls, qualified conversations, and downstream business outcomes;
- prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized activity;
- comply with legal, regulatory, licensing, recordkeeping, and insurance requirements; and
- enforce our Terms of Use and protect our legal rights.
We do not use ordinary website analytics to store policy numbers, medical details, payment information, call transcripts, or other sensitive insurance information.
3. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand advertising performance, and attribute calls or conversions to marketing sources.
We may use analytics and advertising services provided by third parties, including search and advertising platforms. These providers may collect or receive information from the Site in accordance with their own privacy practices.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain uses of advertising or analytics technology may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws. Where applicable, we will provide a Your Privacy Choices or similar opt-out mechanism and honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals when required.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- call-tracking, telecommunications, hosting, analytics, security, CRM, and technology vendors that help us operate the Site and services;
- licensed insurance producers, licensed insurance agencies, carriers, wholesalers, or other insurance-market participants when necessary to provide a service you request;
- professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and service providers supporting legal, compliance, security, or business operations;
- government agencies, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property; and
- a successor or transaction party in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not authorize service providers to use personal information for unrelated purposes beyond the services they provide to us, except as permitted by law.
5. Telephone Calls, Callback Requests, Text Messages, and Email
Calling a number on the Site does not by itself enroll you in recurring marketing calls or text messages.
If you request a callback, you authorize us and/or the licensed insurance professional assigned to your request to contact you at the telephone number you provide for the purpose of responding to that request. A callback request is not blanket consent to unrelated recurring marketing text messages.
If we later offer an optional marketing text-message program or automated/prerecorded marketing calls, any consent required by applicable law will be presented separately in clear and conspicuous language. Consent to marketing communications will not be a condition of purchasing insurance or receiving a requested policy review unless otherwise permitted by law.
You may ask us to stop non-required marketing communications at any time using the method provided in the communication.
6. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular state privacy law applies to TwelveStones Inc., you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information;
- access or obtain a copy of personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete certain personal information;
- obtain personal information in a portable format;
- opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or qualifying profiling activities;
- limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable;
- appeal a decision regarding a privacy request, where applicable; and
- exercise privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at PRODUCTION VALUE REQUIRED or through PRODUCTION VALUE REQUIRED. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. If applicable law allows an authorized agent to act for you, we may request proof of that authority.
If we deny a request and your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by contacting PRODUCTION VALUE REQUIRED and stating that you are appealing a privacy-request decision.
7. California Notice
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to us, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about certain disclosures of personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
Where required, our Your Privacy Choices mechanism will provide the available opt-out methods. We do not discriminate against consumers for exercising applicable privacy rights.
8. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No website, telephone, storage, or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including customer service, call attribution, legal and regulatory requirements, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, insurance recordkeeping, and enforcement of agreements.
Retention periods may vary by record type, state, service provider, and insurance-related legal requirements.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults seeking insurance-related information. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.
11. Third-Party Websites
The Site may link to insurance carriers, regulators, or other third-party websites. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party websites.
Official carrier links and telephone numbers are provided for convenience and are kept separate from our call-tracking numbers whenever possible.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will show when the Policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
