Terms of Use
Effective Date: PRODUCTION LAUNCH DATE Last Updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of InsurancePolicyHelp.org (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by TwelveStones Inc. (“TwelveStones,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. About Insurance Policy Help
Insurance Policy Help is an independent consumer-facing service designed to help people understand life-insurance coverage information and discuss available options.
TwelveStones Inc. owns and operates the Site and Insurance Policy Help brand. Policy-specific insurance advice, solicitation, quoting, or placement, when offered, is provided only by appropriately licensed insurance professionals and/or licensed insurance agencies identified to you at the time the service is provided.
Insurance Policy Help is not your insurance company’s customer-service department unless a specific page expressly states otherwise. We do not claim affiliation with an insurance carrier merely because the Site discusses that carrier or links to the carrier’s official website.
2. No Official Carrier Account Access
Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not have access to your insurer’s billing system, claims system, policyholder portal, login credentials, or account-management tools.
For official matters such as:
- billing or payments;
- claims;
- password or login assistance;
- beneficiary or ownership changes;
- address changes;
- policy loans, withdrawals, or carrier forms;
- policy-specific account servicing; or
- official carrier records,
contact your insurance company directly using verified carrier contact information.
3. General Information; Policy Terms Control
Information on the Site is general educational and informational material. It is not a contract of insurance and does not change, extend, replace, or waive any insurance-policy term, condition, exclusion, limitation, premium, or requirement.
Actual coverage is governed by the issued policy and applicable endorsements. Product availability, underwriting, pricing, eligibility, carrier appetite, and state availability may change and are not guaranteed.
4. Licensed Insurance Activity
Insurance is regulated at the state level. Any activity that constitutes selling, soliciting, negotiating, recommending, quoting, or placing insurance is performed only where and by persons or entities authorized to do so.
We may ask for your state before providing policy-specific assistance. If the appropriate licensed professional is not available for your state or requested insurance line, we may limit the conversation, provide general information, direct you to your insurer, or decline the request.
5. No Guarantee of Results, Savings, Approval, or Replacement
We do not guarantee:
- that you will qualify for insurance;
- that a carrier will offer coverage;
- a particular premium or rate;
- that replacement coverage will be better or less expensive;
- any amount of savings;
- approval, issue, underwriting class, effective date, or benefit amount; or
- that every insurer or insurance product available in your state will be reviewed.
Any examples, illustrations, or descriptions are subject to the applicable policy, carrier, underwriting, and legal requirements.
6. No Obligation to Purchase or Change Coverage
You may call and ask questions without an obligation to purchase, replace, surrender, cancel, or change insurance coverage.
Keeping existing coverage may be an appropriate outcome. You should not cancel or replace existing coverage until any replacement coverage is approved, accepted, paid as required, and confirmed in force.
7. Insurance Replacement and Suitability Considerations
Replacing life insurance can involve new underwriting, new contestability or suicide periods where applicable, surrender charges, loss of guarantees or benefits, tax consequences, and other differences.
A decision to replace, surrender, borrow against, modify, or cancel a policy should be based on the facts of your situation and applicable policy terms. Additional disclosures or replacement forms may be required by state law.
8. Telephone Calls and Callback Requests
Telephone numbers displayed on the Site may be call-tracking numbers used to route and measure calls. The number shown may vary based on advertising source, campaign, or visit while still routing to an approved destination.
Calling the Site does not by itself enroll you in recurring marketing calls or text messages.
If you request a callback, you authorize us and/or the licensed insurance professional assigned to your request to contact you at the number you provide for the purpose of responding to that request.
Call recording or transcription will not be enabled unless and until we implement any notice and consent process required by applicable law. If recording or transcription is enabled, the required notice will be provided before it begins.
9. Accuracy of Information You Provide
You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Insurance decisions can depend on complete and truthful information. Do not intentionally omit or misrepresent material facts relating to an insurance application, policy, claim, health history, finances, ownership, or other underwriting matter.
10. Third-Party Insurance Carriers and Websites
The Site may identify or link to insurance carriers and other third parties. Carrier names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Unless expressly disclosed, a reference to a carrier does not mean that TwelveStones Inc., Insurance Policy Help, or any participating agent is endorsed by, sponsored by, affiliated with, appointed by, or authorized to act for that carrier.
Official carrier links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, policies, privacy practices, availability, or content.
11. Compensation
If insurance is purchased through a participating licensed insurance producer or agency, that producer or agency may receive compensation from an insurance carrier, agency, marketing organization, distributor, or other authorized insurance-market participant.
The specific compensation structure can vary by product and relationship. No purchase is required merely to use the Site or place an inbound call unless a separate service and fee are clearly disclosed and lawfully agreed to in advance.
12. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Site to:
- violate any law or regulation;
- impersonate another person;
- transmit malicious code or interfere with Site security;
- scrape, copy, or exploit Site content in a manner that violates applicable law or our rights;
- submit fraudulent or knowingly false insurance information; or
- use the Site for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive conduct.
13. Intellectual Property
Except for third-party trademarks, carrier names, and materials identified as belonging to others, the Site’s branding, layout, copy, graphics, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to TwelveStones Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the Site for personal, noncommercial informational purposes. No other rights are granted unless we agree in writing.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TwelveStones Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site.
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, and it does not alter any rights you may have against a licensed insurance producer, agency, or carrier under applicable insurance law.
17. Changes to the Site or Terms
We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted unless applicable law requires a different process. The “Last Updated” date shows the most recent revision.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
